Downtown Plainview June 2 Saturday
Presents “Rock the Block Party”

Downtown Plainview’s 2 Saturday event is slated for Saturday,
th
June 10. Business sponsor is The Rusty Rose, and the public is
encouraged to attend.
The event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. with a Pop-Up Brunch and
Cocktails by Plainview Country Club as well as live music at the
Rusty Rose (707 Broadway).
Also, at Millennium Park, the Rotary Club of Plainview and Saint
Francis Ministries will be hosting a picnic along with regional foster
agencies from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to spread the word about
foster care and adoption in the Panhandle/Plains.
As always, downtown merchants will be open beginning at 10:00
a.m. for shopping, dining and browsing.

Downtown Plainview 2 Saturday began in Spring of 2018. Organized by volunteers, the event
highlights one day a month to encourage residents and visitors to come downtown and features a
variety of sales, food, music and events throughout the year.
The Downtown Plainview Organization (Plainview Downtown Association and Main Street Program
recently combined) work to promote a vibrant and historic downtown where everyone will enjoy
Plainview hospitality.
