Adams Upon Retirement
The City of Plainview Mayor Charles Starnes
presented Accounting Coordinator Tammy Adams with
a proclamation at the Tuesday night City Council
meeting.
Adams, a 31-year veteran of the City of Plainview

Finance Department, retired on Friday, February 10. Adams began her tenure with the
City in April 1991.
The proclamation states Tammy “did much to further the City of Plainview’s mission to
serve and contributed to its success, never with the expectation of praise or fanfare, and
we wish to recognize publicly her devotion to duty and to commend her for the manner
in which she carried out her responsibilities.”
