HomeMy WebLinkAbout01.25.2023 Fowler Retirement City of Plainview NEWS th 202 W. 5 Street Plainview, TX 79072 January 25, 2023 City of Plainview Mayor Charles Starnes presents Proclamation to Fireman Bruce Fowler Upon Retirement The City of Plainview Mayor Charles Starnes presented Fire Equipment Operator/EMT Bruce Fowler with a proclamation at the Tuesday night City Council meeting. Fowler, a 31-year veteran of the City of Plainview Fire Department, will retire on th January 30. Fowler began his tenure with the City in August 1991. The proclamation “recognizes publicly his devotion to duty and commends him for the manner in which he carried out his responsibilities” and “expresses our great appreciation for his works and achievements and acknowledges his accomplishments these many years”. th Also, a retirement reception is scheduled for Fowler on Monday, January 30 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Fire Station 3, 3405 SW Third Street.
