City of Plainview Fire Department Announces
Promotions of Stephens, Prater & Fowler
The City of Plainview Fire Department Chief Bobby Gipson recently
announced the promotions of Seth Stephens to Captain of Training
Division, Jordan Prater to Lieutenant and Crayton Fowler to
Equipment Operator.
Stephens, a nine-and-a-half-year member of the City of Plainview
Fire Department, has served as a Firefighter, Equipment Operator
and Lieutenant prior to his most recent promotion. He and his wife,
Julie, have three daughters – Karolyne, Kopeleigh and Kelbie.
Prater is an 11-year member of the department, serving in various
roles including Firefighter, Equipment Operator and now
Lieutenant. He and his wife, Kirsten, have one son, Jasper.
Fowler has been with the Fire Department a little more than two
years where he served as a Firefighter and Advanced EMT. He
and his wife, Rachel, have 14-month twins.
The City of Plainview Fire Department was organized in 1909, and
the department took over emergency medical services (EMS) in
1985. The Department provides fire suppression, fire prevention,
and emergency medical services for the City of Plainview and
surrounding areas.
