Announce Promotions of Ruben Ramirez &
Jose Flores
The City of Plainview Police Department Chief Derrick Watson
recently announced the promotion of Ruben Ramirez and Jose
Flores. Both Officers were promoted to Corporal.
Cpl. Ramirez recently served as a police patrol officer and has
served the City of Plainview Police Department for more five
years. Ramirez was pinned by his wife Elizabeth.
Cpl. Flores recently served as police patrol officer and has
served the City of Plainview Police Department for four years.
Flores was pinned by his wife Laura.
The City Plainview Police Department mission is to maintain a
safe and peaceful community by providing effective and
efficient law enforcement services through community
partnerships, public education, selfless public service and
continuous professional development. The department is
authorized for 34 full-time sworn officers, six public safety
dispatchers and two records clerks / administrative assistants.
