City of Plainview Fire Department Announces
Promotion of Kevin Goss to Training Captain
The City of Plainview Fire Department Chief Bobby Gipson recently
announced the promotion of Kevin Goss to Training Captain,
th
effective Monday, November 8. An eleven-year veteran of the City
of Plainview Fire Department, Goss most recently served as a Shift
Lieutenant.
As Training Captain, Goss will oversee all City of Plainview Fire
Department training required by the Texas Commission on Fire
Protection, Insurance Service Office, and the Department of State
Health Services.
“Goss has been a leader throughout the department and his skills
make him a valuable asset as our Training Captain,” said Fire Chief
Bobby Gipson. “Myself, along with our department staff, look forward to working with him in his new
role.”
