City of Plainview Announces Drive-Thru
Payment Station for Water Utility, Municipal
Court Payments
Citizens are now welcome to pay water utility bills and municipal
court tickets at the City of Plainview’s recently installed kiosk

system located on the west side of City Hall (202 W. 5). The
system will allow citizens to make payments anytime including
nights and weekends from the convenience of their vehicle.

Please use the entrance off of 6 Street where the sign says “Kiosk
Entrance”.
Payments can be made via cash, check or credit card/debit card
(Mastercard and Visa) and partial payments and additional payments are allowed through
the system.
To use the system, citizens may either scan their water bill or retrieve their bill by entering
the account number or their street address number and last name. Citizens will then
choose through several prompts and once the payment is complete, a receipt will be
printed. Also, citizens currently paying their water bill via draft will be able to pay through
the kiosk.
For citizens whose water is close to being turned off due to non-payment, the system
updates every fifteen minutes allowing staff to avoid unnecessary cut-offs when payments
have been received.
“We are proud to offer our citizens more convenient ways to make payments that work
for everyone’s schedule,” said Sarianne Beversdorf, Director of Finance. “Our new ‘drive-
thru payment center’ is now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
Besides the kiosk, citizens may also make payments in-person at City Hall Monday
through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed from 12:00 p.m. – 1:000 p.m.), via the
secured automated telephone system with a Mastercard or Visa debit card or credit card
by calling 866-277-1446 for utility bills and 866-279-4737 for municipal court tickets or via
two online payment options for citizens – Quick Pay and Account Management - on the
City’s website, www.plainviewtx.org.
