Half of Plainview Citizens have Completed

Half of Plainview citizens (50.5%) have complete the census.
The information was revealed in a report ran on Tuesday, May
th
12 by the City of Plainview.
“We want to emphasis the importance of every citizen
completing the census,” says Jeffrey Snyder, City Manager.
“Despite the COVID-19 situation, the census is continuing to
collect information. Participating in the 2020 Census is very
important for a variety of reasons and we encourage everyone to Make Plainview
Count.”
There is a variety of ways that citizens may complete the census:
Phone:
English (for 50 states and Washington, D.C.): 844-330-2020
Spanish (for 50 states and Washington, D.C.): 844-468-2020
Customer Service Representatives are available Sunday - Saturday from 6:00
a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Central time
Online:
Visit - www.my2020census.gov
Enter your 12-digit number from your questionnaire, letter or postcard
Citizens that did not receive or cannot find your census ID may still complete the census
online. Visit www.my2020census.gov and select the link, "If you do not have a Census
ID, click here." It is located below the Census ID login field.
Citizens are allowed and encouraged to complete the census by mail, phone or internet
and it is available in many languages including Spanish. Census information is
confidential and cannot be shared with immigration or law enforcement agencies and
are not allowed to determine government benefit eligibility.
