Plainview Safe Program – Round Two
The City of Plainview, Plainview / Hale County Economic
Development Corporation, and the Plainview Chamber of
Commerce will begin Round Two of the Plainview Safe

Program on Tuesday, November 17.
The Plainview Safe program will provide masks to small businesses for their employees
and customers in an effort to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Businesses will be able to pick up masks at the Chamber of Commerce, 1906 W. 5
Street, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or by appointment.
Also, any individuals that do not have access to masks may pick up one at the
Plainview-Hale County Health Department. Due to limited supply, each individual may
pick up a maximum of two masks per person.
Citizens are encouraged to call the Health Department at 293-1359 before arriving to
pick up a mask. The department is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. –
5:30 p.m.
It is strongly advised to wear a mask in public, wash your hands, practice social
distancing and if you experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, stay home and contact your
physician.
