The celebration will consist of a variety of activities and events happening downtown throughout the month of December and will conclude with the st Fair Movie Day on Friday, December 21. “It always depends on how the calendar falls but we really like kicking off the 12 Days of Christmas celebration with the Christmas parade – it just makes it really festive,” said Tori Huddleston, Special Projects Assistant. “As in year’s past, several events downtown for the 12 Days include story hour, shopping days, a wine walk, music and movies.” The 12 Days of Christmas Celebration will be:  December 6th o 5:00 p.m. – Literacy Council Pre-Parade Celebration @ Fair Theater o 6:30 p.m. – Chamber Christmas Parade th  December 8 nd o 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - PDA 2 Saturday ’Twas the Night Before Christmas – Out on the Downtown th  December 12 o 10:00 a.m. – Christmas Story Hour @ Unger Memorial Library th  December 13 o All Day – Downtown Shopping Day th  December 14 o 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Wine Walk Downtown th  December 15 o All Day – Downtown Shopping Day th  December 16 o 3:00 p.m. - Plv. Civic Music Association: Adult & Children’s Chorus @ Fair Theater th  December 18 o 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Soup, Santa & Sopapillas @ Fair Theater th  December 19 o 10:00 a.m. – Christmas Story Hour @ Unger Memorial Library th  December 20 o 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Gift Wrapping @ Fair Theater o All Day – Downtown Shopping Day st  December 21 o Christmas Movies/Fair Theatre ($2/Adults, $1/Kids per movie) o 2:00 p.m. The Santa Clause (PG) o 4:30 p.m. Elf (PG) The purpose of the 12 Days of Christmas is to encourage everyone to visit and shop downtown during the holiday season.
