1. Call to Order: 11:38 a.m.
2. June Board Minutes – Review and Approve

Phyllis Wall mo?oned to approve the April Board minutes. Terra James voiced the 2. The mo?on to
approve the June 2023 minutes passed with a 6-0 vote.
3. Consider and take necessary ac?on on the Friends of Downtown June Financial Report
Melinda Brown presented the June financial report and itemized budget. Discussion about the
reforma?ng the report was made and tabled to a later ?me. Cynthia Gregory mo?oned to approve the

Friends of Downtown June Financial Report, Hari Kotaiya 2 the mo?on and it was approved with a 6-0
vote.
4. Commi?ee Reports
Friends of Downtown – has not met yet
Promo?ons – Veteran’s sign order forms are in – wai?ng for sample sign and a mailing list.
Robert’s Tree House will do a bid for every address downtown.
Vendors sign up is $35 and listed on a shared google doc.

Es?mate given for Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2023 is a total of $6,650 which includes:
marke?ng, postcards/mailers and postage, poster prints, custom ornaments, entertainment,
awards, Santa, movie at the Fair, and miscellaneous expenses.
Organiza?on – working on a complete map of all downtown businesses with a QR to access map
Design – s?ll looking at alleyway between Broadway and Ash.
Working on COA process.
CVB – has not met yet; preparing for Des?na?on by Design marke?ng project
5. Items for Next Mee?ng
Kris? Aday will contact a consultant to help organize a workshop on organiza?on of the commi?ees and
their goals. Will review commi?ee structures and amend the agenda to include ac?onable items from
commi?ees. Rehang banners and situate downtown music on speakers.
