Mayor Pro Tern Evan Weiss presided. Council Members present were Mary Elizabeth Dickerson -District 1, Steve Martinez -District 2, Mike McDonough -District 3, Gary House - District 4, Daniel Rascon-District 5, and Lorie Rodriguez -District 7. Mayor Charles Starnes was absent. Staff members present were Jeff Johnston -Interim City Manager, Courtney White -City Attorney, Isauro Gutierrez -Director of Information Technology, Neil Weems -Director of Public Works, Derrick Watson -Police Chief, Kristi Aday, Director of Economic Development, Jason Johnson -Director of Finance, Tim Crosswhite-Capital Improvement Program Manager, Valessa Gutierrez-HR Manager, and Belinda Hinojosa-City Secretary. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas Establishing Legislative Priorities and Adopting a Legislative Agenda for the 89th Texas Legislature Including Any Special Called Sessions and the Interim (Resolution R25-652) Presenter: Jeff Johnston, Assistant City Manager Presented the City of Plainview Legislative Priorities for adoption. Authorize the purchase of a 2025 Ford F-450 Dump Truck through the TIPS Cooperative. Recommends purchase of a 2025 Ford F-450 Dump Truck through the TIPS Cooperative from Sames Bastrop Ford in the amount of $83,828.00. Motion: Move to authorize the purchase of a 2025 Ford F450 dump truck through the TIPS Cooperative. Vote: 7-0. Motion carried. 6. Authorize Purchase of Fire Department SUV throegh Bu Board I — Presenter: Tim Crosswhite, Capital Improvement Program Manager to recommends the approval of purchase of Fire Pursuit 4-Door SUV from Caldwell Country Chevrolet in the amount of $56,706.00 through BuyBoard. mi- 7. City Manager Mayor Pro Tern Weiss recessed the meeting at 7:02 p.m. Mayor Pro Tern Weiss opened the meeting back at 7:39 p.m. and announced no action would be taken. 10.
