PLANNING & ZONING MINUTES
The Planning & Zoning Board held a special called hearing on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at
6:00 p.m. The meeting took place in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 202 W 5tn St, Plainview,
Texas, with the following members present:
Staff Members Present: Jeff Johnston—Assistant City Manager, Meagon Borjas—Community
Service Secretary, Erica Muniz—Community Service Secretary.
Board Members Present:..Justin Cantwell, Had Kotaiya, Sally Bishop, Paul Drager, Mark Hardin,
and Mark Bacher.
ITEM NO. 1 Call to Order.
Paul Drager opened the meeting at 6:00 pm, established a quorum and conducted the
consideration of the following items in the order presented.
ITEM NO. 2 Approval of the minutes of October 13, 2022.
Mark Hardin made a motion for approval of the October 13, 2022 minutes. Mark Bacher seconded
and motion carried unanimously.
ITEM No.3: Case File No. P-22-06,A plat to be located in the City of Plainview, Hale County
Texas. Describes by metes and bounds AB 26 BLK JK-2 SEC 29 OUT W/2 336.34X1036 FAC
&W OF HWY&274X275'9.813 Acres, commonly known as 700 S I-27,Wylie Addition Tract
A, Plainview, Hale County Texas.
OWNER(S): Coyote Real Estate Holdings, L.L.0 SURVEYOR:AMD Engineering
Jeff Johnston presented before the board a consideration of a platted property for address, 700
S 1-27, Plainview, TX, 79072.
Mark Hardin made motion to open Public Hearing. Seconded by Sally Bishop. Motion carried
unanimously.
Paul Drager asked if there was anyone to speak in Opposition or Favor. No Opposition. No Favor.
Mark Hardin made motion to close Public Hearing. Seconded by Sally Bishop. Motion carried
unanimously. -
Motion to approve Case File No. P-22-06, Plat metes and bounds AB 26 BLK JK-2 SEC29
OUT W/2 336.34X1036 FAC &W OF HWY&274X275' 9.813 acres, commonly known as 700
S 1-27, Wylie Addition Tract A, Plainview, Hale County Texas. Pending corrections and
additions listed by the Planning and Zoning Commission Board.
Justin Cantwell made motion to approve. Seconded by Had Kotaiya. Motion carried unanimously.
ITEM NO. 6 No further comments were made and the meeting was adjourned at 6:23 pm.
