The Planning& Zoning Board held a hearing on Thursday, January 25th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The
meeting took place in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 202 W 5th St,Plainview, Texas, with
the following members present:
Staff Members Present: Jeff Johnston—Assistant City Manager and ninny Marroquin—
Community Services Secretary.
Board Members Present: Sally Bishop, Chris LeFevre, Danny Murphree, Mark Hardin, Hari
Krishna, and Angel Martinez.
Item No. 1. Call to Order
Chris LeFevre opened the meeting at 6:05 p.m., established a quorum, and conducted the
consideration of the following items in the order presented.
Item No. 2 Oath of Office
The Oath of Office included Mark Hardin and Hari Krishna who were reappointed to the
commission; Angel Martinez, an alternate for the commission, was newly appointed.
Item No.3 Approval of minutes from December 14,2023
Mark-Bal fade a motion to approve the minutes from December 14th, 2023. Sally Bishop
seconded,motion carried 6-0.
Item No. 4 Case File No. P-23-16, Consider the approval of 1.06 Acres located at West 34th
and Quincy St.The property under consideration for Plat approval is currently described as
AB 29 BLK JK-2 SEC 35 OUT S/2 OF NE/4 N OF 34TH ST. The preliminary and final Plat
will be combined and reviewed for approval as a Consolidated Plat, of Lot 1 Heredia
Addition Section 35 Block JK2 Abstract 29 GC&SF RR Co. Survey,Plainview Hale County
Texas.
Jeff Johnston presented before the Commission the consideration for the Consolidated Plat
known as the Heredia Addition—west 34th and Quincy St.
Danny Murphree made the motion to open public hearing, Mark Hardin seconded vote carried 6-
0.
Mark Hardin made a motion to close the public hearing. Sally Bishop seconded the motion and
vote carried unanimously.
Sally Bishop made a motion to approve case file no.P-23-16 as presented. The item was seconded
by Danny Murphree and the vote carried unanimously.
ITEM NO. 5 Adjournment
No further comments were made; the meeting was adjourned at 6:17 pm.
