CITY SECRETARY APPOINTMENT
RESOLUTION NO. R08-190
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPOINTING KATHERINE EGGER AS DEPUTY
CITY SECRETARY.
WHEREAS, Leslie Spear Pearce, City Attorney, retained Katherine Egger to
serve as her Legal Secretary; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's Legal Secretary and the Deputy City Secretary
job responsibilities may be combined; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to have an individual to hold the
position as Deputy City Secretary in accordance with the City of Plainview Code of
Ordinances at Chapter 2, Article IV, Section 2-42; and
WHEREAS, Katherine Egger has represented that she has the necessary skills
to perform the responsibilities as Deputy City Secretary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas that Katherine Egger is hereby appointed as Deputy City Secretary of
the City of Plainview dating back to December 1, 2005, and all previous actions taken by
Katherine Egger as Deputy City Secretary are hereby ratified.
