RESOLUTION NO. R90-172
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY O~ PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, APPROVING
THE FINAL PLAT OF EDGEMERE ADDITION, UNIT NO. 6,
PLAINVIEW, HALE COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on August 14, 1990, the City Council approved the
Preliminary Plat of Edgemere Addition, Unit No. 6, Plainview,
Hale County, Texas, subject to certain stipulations; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview Independent School District of
Plainview, Texas, has submitted the Final Plat of Edgemere
Addition, Unit No. 6, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, along with
all required fees and accompanying documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed said Final Plat and
has found that it contains all the items required by the
stipulations set forth for the approval of its Preliminary Plat
and that it conforms to the requirements of the Subdivision
Regulations of the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, all payments, guarantees and other provisions for
water and sewer connections required to serve said addition have
been made; and
WHEREAS, provisions have been made for street paving and other
improvements required by the City of Plainview for the approval of
the Final Plat of said addition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Plainview, Texas,
that the Final Plat of Edgemere Addition, Unit No. 6, Plainview,
Hale County, Texas, be and is hereby approved subject to
compliance with the Subdivision Regulations and other ordinances
governing the platting and developing of land within the City of
Plainview.

DESCRIPTION
Being a 1~550 acre tract (67,500 square feet) out of the
north part of Survey 34, Block JK-2, Hale County:
BEGINNING at the northwest Corner of the Plainview
Independent School Distri=t tract as recorded in Volume 368, page
185 of the Hale County Deed Records and the northeast corner of
EDGEMERE ADDITION UNIT No. 4, HALE COUNTY,· TEXAS (Unit recorded
in Volume 427, page 525 of the Hale County Deed Records), said
corner being in' the north line and 1941.6 feet East of the
northwest corner of Survey No. 34, Block JK-2, Hale County, Texas
(centerline of 24th Street and the projection of the east llne of
an alley);
Thence East 300 feet along 'the north line of said survey to
the northwest corner of s street dedication as recorded in Volume
407, page 177 of the Hale County deed Records;
Thence South 225 feet along said dedication (Yonkers Street)
to a set 1/2 inch steel rod;
Thence West 300 feet to a 1/2 inch steel rod set in the west
line of said school t~act and the east line of both said Unit No.
4 and an alley;
Thence North 225 feet along said alley and projection to the
POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.550 acres, of which the north
50 feet and the east 15 feet are herein dedicated for additional
street right of way and the West 5 feet is herein dedicated for
additional alley right of way.
