A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AWARDING A FRANCHISE FOR THE OPERATION OF EMEgG~CY
MEDICAL SERVICES IN PLAIAYv-fEW, TEXAS.

WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has contracted in the past, with
Plainview EMS for providing emergency medical services to the citizens
of Plainview and parts of Hale County; and
WHEREAS, that contract will expire on October 1, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City has solicited proposals for providing emergency
medical services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied all of the proposals and feel
that Plainview Fire Department has submitted the best proposal to serve
the citizens of Plainview and parts of Hale County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Te~s that Plainview Fire Deparh~-ent is hereby awarded the
franchise agreement for providing emergency medical services to the City
of Plainview and parts of Hale County effective October 1, 1985, and
those services are to be Advanced Life Support by January 1, 1987.
