RESOLUTION NO. R85-856
A RESOLUTION OF ~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PIAINVIEW,
TEX~ APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF JUNIOR HIGH
ADDITION, UNIT NO. 3, PLAINVIEW, HALF. COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHERF~q, Johnny McDonald of Plainview has submitted the Preliminary
Plat of Junior High Addition, Unit No. 3, Plainview, Hale County, Texas,
along with appropriate plat fees and necessary information to the City
Engineer of the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Plainview on June 13, 1985 approved the Preliminary Plat of said Junior
High Addition, Unit No. 3, Hale County, Texas subject to the following
stipulations:
1) That right-of-way for 24th Street be 50 feet frcm north line of
Section 34 to front property line of Lot 4.
2) That building setback line along Utica Street be 15 feet.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Preliminary Plat and
the re~dations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and finds
that said plat revised to include the stipulations recommended by the
Plannin~ and Zoning Ccmmision will comply With the intent of the
Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plainview.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview that the Preliminary Plat of Junior High Addition,
Unit No. 3, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, be approved subject to the
stipulations recommended by the Planning and Zoning Ccmmlission and tb~t
the Final Plat of said addition inco~rate all of said stipulations.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 25th day of June, 1985.

Being a 0,~035 acre tract out of the northeast quarter of Survey No. 34,
BEGINNING at a spike set in the north line and 1495 feet West of the
northeast corner of Survey No. 34, Block JK-2, Hale County, Texas, said spike
also being 285 feet west of the intersection of the southwesterly right of way
line of State Highway No. 194 and the north line of said survey;
Thence West 135 .feet along the north line of said survey to a set spike;
Thence South 236 feet to a 3/8 inch steel rod found in the North line of
an alley as recorded in Volume 399, pag~ 159 of the Hale County Deed Records;
Thence .East 105 feet along the north line of said alley to the west line
of utica street as dedicated'in Volume 458, page 565 of the Hale County Deed
Records;
Thence N.20~19.4~E.' 86.'38 feet along the west line of said street to a
found 3/8 inch steel rod~. .
Thence North 155 feet'continuing along the west line of said Utica Street
'to .the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 0.7035 acres.
