Box 1870 Plainview, Texas 79072 Re: Delinquent Tax Collection Program Dear Mr. Jeffers: Our firm has represented the City of Plainview for some time in its delinquent collection program. We have enjoyed our asso- ciation with the City of Plainview and appreciate the opportunity we have had to represent the City, as well as the cooperation and understanding we have been afforded. As you are aware, the City has now contracted with the Hale County Appraisal District to collect it's taxes and, in turn, we have contracted with the Hale County Appraisal District to represent the City of Plainvlew and the Ptainview Independent School Dis- trict in their collection effort. This letter is to advise that when the City of Plainview has turned over their taxes to the Hale County Appraisal District and the Hale County Appraisal District begins the collection function, the old contract with the City of Plainview will be replaced and from that time forward we will operate under the new contract with the Hale County Appraisal District. We sincerely appreciate your assistance in the past and look forward to representing the City through the new contract with Hale County Appraisal District. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me. Sincerely yours, PERDUE, BRANDON & FIELDER Larry Brandon LB:jm
