R81-344 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPROVING THE REQUEST OF BELK & COOK CONTRACTORS TO PAVE A PORTION OF A EAST WEST ALLEY LOCATED IN WINWOOD VILLAGE OF PLAINVIEW. WHEREAS, a request has been received by the City of Plainview from Belk & Cook, General Contractors for permission to pave a portion of the east west alley located directly south of the Hodges Sub- division; and WHEREAS, this paving will be installed meet specifications developed by the Director of Public Works: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas that Belk & Cook Contractors be granted permission to pave from Amarillo Street to a point approximately 285 feet west of Amarillo Street located in Winwood Village, Plainview. The p~rtion we propose to pave would be from A~ari!lo street to a point approximately 285 feet west of Amarillo street° This portion would be as shown in the shaded area on sheet SS of the Winwood Village of Piainview plans which have been filed with Mr. Gladman. The proposed paving would consist of one and one-half inch thick hot mix over a six inch caliche base in accordance with Section 2E of the specifications for Winwood Village of P!ainview.
