Box 117 Cranfills Gap, Texas 76637 (817} 597-2236 May 14, 1979 Mr. Charles O. Couch Servicm Center Supervisor City of Plainview Plainview, Texas 79072 Dear Sir, We are most pleased to be asked to bid on furnishing the city of Plainview, Texas wit~ the 22 front load sanitation containers as specified in Bid #10079. The Maxi-Pak Container meets all your listed specifications with small deviations in Spec #3 and Spec #8. Number 3 specifies one (1) continuous sheet of steel for front, back, and bottom of the container. The Maxi-Pak container uses individual pieces of steel in these parts because we break two (2) V-crimps or corrugations in the front panel to add strength to the container. Number 8 requires the use of one (1) torsion spring in the lid to assist in the opening of the container lid; however, the Maxi-Pak uses a three (3) yard size container lid instead of the four (4) yard size, thereby reducing the lid weight by 12 to 15 pounds~ This reduction of weight makes for a very easy opening lid. we hope these small deviations from your specifications will not hinder the consideration of the Maxi-Pak Container in th~-awarding of this bid. : ~ ' Presi den t RWM : dg i
