~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHORIZING_THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SITE
PREPARATION AT E. & E. GIVENS PARK.
WHEREAS, on February 12, 1980 the City Council set aside $60,000
of the 1978 Community Development Park Improvement Funds for E.&.E.
Givens Park; and
WHEREAS, said $60,000 included the cost of construction of two (2)
baseball/softball practice fields and one (1) soccer/football practice
field; and
WHBREAS, some site preparation is required before the construction
of said fields:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview,Texas, to authorize the advertisement for bids for
site preparation at.E.&.E.Givens Park.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd day'.'of April, 1980.
