RESOLUTION NO. R80-252
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS AUTHOR'IZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SMOKE HOUSE AT THE
FIRE TRAINING FIELD AND THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO COVER SAID
CONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS,the~Fire Department has been accumulating funds from
a training grant; and
WHEREAS, the training funds are obligated toward providing training
facilities and materials; and
WHEREAS, there exists a need for a smoke house to provide this phase
of training; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the training account to cover
the estaimated $8,000 construction cost:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas, to authorize the construction of a Smoke House
at the Fire Training Field and the transfer of funds to cover said
construction.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 22nd day of April, 1980.
