RESOLUTION NO. R80-283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS DECLARING THE N40' OF LOT~4,
BLOCK 9, DEPOT ADDITION FOR SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY;
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS: AND PROVIDING
FOR PA~{ENT OF SAID ADVERTISEMENT.
WHEREAS, the N40' of Lot 4, Block 9 Depot Addition located
on Date Street in the City of Plainview is owned by the municipality
and is not needed for public purpose; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 65-859 requires that the advertising
for sealed bids for conveyance of surplus property; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the purchaser of this
property initiating the advertisement for sealed bids, therefore,
the successful bidder shall be willing to pay the cost of the
advertising:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY the Mayor and City'Council
of the City of Plainview to:
Section 1: Declare surplus real property N40' Lot,-4, Block 9,
Depot Addition, Plainview,Texas.
S~ction 2: Authorizing the City Manager to advertise for
sealed bids upon request of the interested buyer.
Section 3: Instruct the City Manager to insure payment of
the advertisement by the successful bidder.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 24th day of June, 1980.
