R80-285 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE EXTENTION OF THE CONTRACT WITH PLANK COATING, INC., FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE INTERIOR BOLTS IN THE OVER- HEAD WATER STORAGE TANKS. WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of April, the City of Plainview entered into a contract agreement with Plank Coatings, Inc. of Odessa, Texas for the Cleaning, sandblasting, and.interior painting of elevated water storage tanks in the City; and WHEREAS, while carrying the duties of the contract considerable det~riation of interior bolts had been discovered; and WHEREAS, Plank Coatings, Inc., has submitted a price of $ 2,138.80 to make the necessary repairs on the interior of the tank: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT. RESOLVED BY the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas that the contract between the City of Plainview and Plank Coatings, Inc. of Odessa be extended in the amount $ 2,138.80 to carry out necessary repairs in said water storage tank.
