A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT
~OF $12,868.69 FROM WATER AND SEWER REVENUE FUND
ACCOUNT NO. 11 TO PARKHILL, SMITH & COOPER, INC.
-FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES PERFORMED INCONJUNCTION
WITH WATER & SEWER ADJUSTMENT ALONG tNTERS~TJtTE 27.
WHEREAS, by Council action on November 2, '1979,. amended October
29~ 1980 the City of Plainview entered into a contract with Parkhill
Smith & Cooper,.Inc. of Lubbock, Texas for certain engineering services'
to be performed during the relocation and construction of certain water
&sanitary.sewer lines adjacent to Interstate Highway 27 and across the
right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, work on this project has begun and the City of Plainview
is in receipt of a statement in the amount of $12,868.69 for engineering
services performed through March 31, 1981; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in Water and Sewer Revenue
Fund Account No. 11 to cover said expenditure:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas to authorize payment in the amount of $12,868.69
from Water and Sewer Revenue Fund Account NO. 11 to Parkhill, Smith & Cooper,
Inc. for engineering services performed in conjunction with water & sewer
adjustments along Interstate 27.
