RESOLUTION NO. R81-410
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF'BASSINGER
S~ND-BLASTING SERVICE FOR REPAIRS TO THE BULLDOG
WATER TOWER.
.WHEREAS, during the month of May of this year, the overhead
storage water tower located in the 1100 block of Smythe Street
known as, Bulldog Water Tower was defaced by vandalism; and
WHEREAS, the City has received two proposals for repairing
the external areas of the tower which has been defaced; and
WHEREAS, the lowest and best proposal was submitted by
Bassinger Sandblasting Service of Lubbock, Texas in the amount of
$400.00 for labor and the City purchased the paint which will cost
an additional $100 to $150:
