RESOLUTION NO. R81-449
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE SELL OF THE SUPRLUS
1973 JACOBSON MOWER TO THE PLAINVIEWMUNICIPAL COUNTRY
CLUB.
WHEREAS, tho City Council declared the 1973 Jacobsen Mower
as surplus property on July 14, 1981 because it was not designed
for the type of mowing required in most of the City Parks; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview advertised for sealed
bids to be opened on August 5, 1981, however, no bids were received;
and
WHEREAS, the Plainview Municipal Country Club has presented
a formal proposal to purchase the mower for $6,600 less $600 for
repairs and maintenance already paid by the Plainview Country Club:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview, Texas to sell the 1973 Jacobsen Me,err
to the Plainview Country Club for $6,600 less $600 for repairs and
maintenance previously paid.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of November, 1981.

This letter will serve as a formal proposal on the 1974 Jacobson
mower presently owned by the City of ?lainview.
Our proposal is $6,600.00 less $600.00 of repairs and maintainance
already paid for by the ~lainview Country Club. The balance will
be paid upon delivery.
