A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PI&INVIEW, TEXAS APPROPRIATING $9,S12.96 FROM THE
ACCUMULATED INTEREST IN THE INDUSTRIAL FUND AS PAY~NT
TO WESTAR TRANSMISSION COMPANY AND ENERGAS COMPANY
FOR THE LOWERING AND REPLACEMENT OF PIPELINES DURING
THE PAVING PROJECT F.M. 1767.
WHEREAS, on July 16, 1981, the City of Plainview entered
an agreement with Westar Transmission Company and Energas Company
providing for the lowering and replacement of three pipelines at
the Westar-Energas Town Border Station No. 1 necessitated by the
widening and paving of F.M. 1767 (34th Street); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of the agreement pertaining to the
aforementioned work have been executed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview is in receipt of a statement
in an amount totaling $9,512.96 from Westar Transmission Company
and Energas Company; and
WHEREAS, they have requested payment in two checks, one to
Westar Transmission Company and one to Energas Company in the amount
of $4,756.48 each; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available from the interest
that has accumulated in the Industrial Fund to cover said expenditure:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Plainview to appropriate $9,512.96 from the accumulated
interest in the Industrial Fund as payment to Westar Transmission
Company and Energas Company for the lowering and replacement of pipe-
lines during the Paving Project fo~F~.M..!1767.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of December, 1981.

Dear Mayor Wayland:
Enclosed are statements from Westar Transmission Company and Energas Company
concerning the lowering and replacement of three pipelines at the Westar-Energas
Town Border Station No. 1. This work was to accommodate the construction of
F.M. 1767.
Due primarily to inclement weather, our actual cost was much more than the
estimated cost. The actual cost was a total of $1.5,493.89.
As per our Letter of Agreement dated July 16, 1981 we are asking that you pay
a total of $9,512.96. '
Please make payment with two checks, one to Westar Transmission Company and one
to F~ergas Company in the amount of $4,756.48 each.
