P~SOLUTION NO. R88-172
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS WITHDRAWING THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW'S APPLICATION TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE 911 PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas has
entered in an agreement with Lubbock Emergency Communication District
(LECD) to furnish the City of Plainview with enhanced 911 service;
and
WT~R~EAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas wishes
to withdraw its application to participate in the State 911 Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas that the City of Plainview, Texas desires to
withdraw its application to participate in the State 911 Plan and
hereby repeals Resolution No. R88-112, which was adopted on March 22,
1988, expressing intent to participate in said plan.
