RESOLUTION NO. R88-197
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT
OF BALLARD SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 1 REVISED, HALE
COUNTY, TEXAS.

WHEREAS, Melton R. Ballard has submitted the Preliminary Plat of
Ballard Subdivision, Unit No. 1 Revised, Hale County, Texas to the
City Engineer of the City of Plainview; and
W~RREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Plainview on SePtember 22, 1988, approved the Preliminary Plat of
Ballard Subdivision, Unit No. 1 Revised, Hale County, Texas subject
to the following stipulations:
1)
That an additional 10 feet of street right-of-way be
provided along the south edge of 34th Street.
2)
That a 25' building setback line along 34th Street be
permitted.
3)
That 25' building setback lines be provided along the
east side of Lot 25 and along the west side of Lot 27.
4)
That other features shown on the plat be permitted as
submitted.
5)
That the developer take note of the requirements of the
Texas Department of Health regarding septic tanks and
disposal tile fields.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Preliminary Plat
and the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and
find that said plat revised to include the stipulations recommended
by the Planning and Zoning Commission will comply with the intent of
the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plainview.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas, that the Preliminary Plat of Ballard
Subdivision, Unit No. 1 Revised, Hale County, Texas be approved
subject to the stipulations recommended by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and that the Final Plat of said subdivision incorporate
all of said stipulations.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the llth day of October, 1988.
