R89-120 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE CONDITIONS OF THE STATE DEPARTMEN~ OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MINUTE ORDER 88237 DATED JANUARY 30, 1989. Whereas, the City of Plainview is interested in seeing State Highway 194 extended from U.S. 70 South to farm-to-market road 3466; and Whereas, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation through Minute Order 88237 dated January 30, 1989, has agreed to construct such a project if the City will meet certain conditions outlined in the Minute Order; and Whereas~ a copy of Minute Order 88237 is attached and hereby made a permanent part of this Resolution; and Whereas, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Plainview that the City Council participate in this important transportation improvement project. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas, that the City agrees to abide by the conditions of Minute Order 88237 as passed by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation on January 30, 1989. Be It Further Resolved that the Mayor of the City of Plainview is authorized to execute necessary documents in order to accomplish said project. Passed and approved on March 14, 19~~/~/~ E.V.
