RESOLUTION NO. R89-153
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, AWARDING BIDS FOR ONE TWENTY FIVE YARD REFUSE PACKER
BODY FOR THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT AND ONE DUMP BED FOR THE
STREET DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Sanitation Department has budgeted funds for a new
Sanitation Truck and part of those funds budgeted was for a Refuse
Packer Body for that truck; and
WHEREAS, the Street Department has budgeted funds for one Dump
Truck and part of those funds were for a Dump Bed for the said Truck;
and
WHEREAS, the Plainview City Council has duly advertised, opened,
and tabulated bids for one Twenty Five Yard Refuse Packer Body and
one Six or Seven Yard Dump Bed and those tabulations are hereby
attached and made a permanent part of this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas, that the bid for the Twenty Five Yard Refuse Packer
Body for use by the Sanitation Department is hereby awarded to
Pak Mor Manufacturinq , in the amount of $ 37,400.00 , and
the bid for one Six or Seven Yard Dump Bed for use by the Street
Department is hereby awarded to Fruehauf Trailer ,
in the amount of $ 4,687.00 .
