A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVI~. T]~AS, AUTHORIZING THE
FOLLOWING OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
TO ENTER INTO AN AGR~T WITH THE TKKAs
DEPARTMENT OF COI~C~IITY
PROGRAM AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN
OFFICES AS AUTHORIZED.~ SIGNATORIES ON LEGAL
DOCUMENTS P~RTAINING TO THE CITY'S
PARTICIPATION IN TH]~ COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAm.
WI{ERF~S, the City of Plainview received a grant from Texas Department
of Commerce to rehabilitate homes of low and moderate income persons and;
WHEREAS, the Te~a~ Department of Commerce ban requested that the
City of Plainview provide that individual offices are authorized to execute
above agreement.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of
Plainview to authorize the below offices to execute above agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas:
1. That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director and the
Mayor of the City of Plainview to act as designated signatories for
the City of Plainview on State of Texas Purchase Vouchers
pertaining to the above grant.
2. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager and Director for
Community Services to act as designated signatories for the City of
Plainview on requests for Advance or Reimbursements perts~ning to
the above grant.
