A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIE~, TEXAS, AUTHO11IZING THE
FOIJ.OWING OFFICg11S OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIE~
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TKKAS
DEPARTMF~IT OF COMMUNITY DEVEI~~
P11OGRAM AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN
OFFICES AS AUTHO11IZED SIGNATORIES ON LEGAL
DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE CITY'S
PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
P11OG11AM.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview received a grant from Texs~ Department
of Commerce to rehabilitate homes of low and moderate income persons and;
WHEREA~, the Texas Department of Commerce has requested that the
City of Plainview provide that individual offices are authorized to execute
above agreement.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of
Plainview to authorize the below offices to execute above agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BP. IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas:
That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director and the
Mayor of the City of Plainview to act as designated signatories for
the City of Plainview on State of Texas Purchase Vouchers
pertaining to the above grant.
That the City Council authorizes the City Manager and Director for
Community Services to act as designated signatories for the City of
Plainview on requests for Advance or Reimbursements pertaining to
the above grant.
