A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEN, TEXAS,
APPROVING THE COMBINED PRELIMINARY AND FINAL
PLAT OF GRANDVIEW ADDITION, UNIT NO. 4,
PLAINVIEN, HALE COUNTY, TEXAS.
1~IER~S, The American State Bank of Lubbock and Plainview, Texas,
has submitted the combined Preliminary and Final Plat of Grandview Addition,
Unit No. 4, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, along with appropriate fees and
necessary information to the City Engineer of the City of Plainview; and
~HIEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Plainview, on July 11, 1991, approved said Combined Prelim~narSr and Final
Plat of Grandview Addition, Unit No. 4, Plainview, Hale County, Texas,
subject to the following stipulation:
1)
That the 15' x 10' easement requested by
Southwestern Public Service Company be shown
on the Final Plat and included in the Dedication
Deed.

WHF.~S, the City Council has reviewed said Combined Preliminary and
Final Plat and the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission
and finds that said plat revised to include the stipulation recommended by the
Planning and Zoning Commission complies with the intent of the Subdivision
Regulations of the City of Plainview.
WHEREAS, the property being platted was previously developed,
connected to both water and sewer, but subsequently cleared for
redevelopment; and
lgHEREAS, existing water and sewer mains adjacent to said Grandview
Addition, Unit No. 4, are adequate to properiy serve said addition; and
WHERF_~S, Section 24-76. Previously Connected Property of Article III,
Water, Sewer Extensions, Chapter 24, City of Plainview Code of Ordinances
provides that property previously connected to water and sewer may, at the
discretion of the City Council, be exempted from the connection charges set
forth in Section 24-65 of said Article III.
NOI~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Plainview that the Combined Pre]imlnary and Final Plat of Grandview
Addition, Unit No. 4, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, be and is hereby
approved subject to compliance with the subdivision regulations and other
ordinances govercKng the platting and developing of land within the City of
Plainview and its extraterritorial jurisdictiOn; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property being platted be
exempted from connection charges for water and sewer as set forth in Section
24-76, Article III, Chapter 24 of the City of Plainview Code of Ordinances.
