JUDGE AND TEEN COURT
RESOLUTION NO. R92-102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS,
REAPPOINTING BARBARA L. SUrJ.IVAN AS MUNICIPAL
COURT JUDGE FOR THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW AND
TEEN COURT COORDINATOR.
WHEREAS, the Charter for the City of Plainview provides for the position of
Municipal Court Judge as an officer of the City, serving at the will and
pleasure of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas, through
Resolution No. R86-987 appointed Barbara L. Sullivan as Municipal Court
Judge and Teen Court Coordinator for the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, through Resolution No. R90-111, Judge Sullivar. was reappointed
for a two year term on March 27, 1990; and
WHEREAS, State and Local Law provide for the appointment of the Municipal
Court Judge by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Judge Barbara L. Sullivan has performed the duties of Municipal
Court Judge and Teen Coordinator in an exemplary manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Plainview, Texas, that
Judge Barbara L. Sullivan is reappointed as Municipal Court Judge and Teen
Court Coordinator for the City of Plainview, Texas, for a term as set by law.
