RESOLUTION NO. 92-121
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AND ENTER INTO ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND SOUTH PLAINS
HEALTH PROVIDER ORGANIZATION, INC. (SPHPO) FOR
USE OF A VEHICLE BY SPHPO FOR ITS CLINICS.
WHEREAS, the South Plains Health Provider Organization, Inc. (SPHPO)
has requested use of a certain vehicle known as a 1987 Ford 4-door passenger
vehicle, Vin No. 2FABP72GIHX154520 for use by its clinics to provide services to
the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview recognizes the need to provide continued
and complete services to the citizens of: the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview considers SPHPO's request for use of the
aforementioned vehicle in the best interest of the citizens of the City of
Plainview;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas, that the City Manager be authorized to enter into an
agreement between South Plains Health Provider Organization, Inc. and the
City of Plainview for the purpose of allowing SPHPO's clinics to use the
aforementioned vehicle to provide more complete and comprehensive services to
their clients.
