COALITION ON FRANCHISED UTILITIES ISSUES
ORDINANCE NO. 96-3079
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE 95-3056, THE 1995-1996 BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, AS SUCH PERTAINS TO
PARTICIPATION IN THE TEXAS COALITION ON
FRANCHISED UTILITIES ISSUES.
WHEREAS, the Plainview City Council through the adoption of Ordinance 95-3056 adopted
a budget for the 1995-1996 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the annual budget serves as a guideline for annual revenues and expenditures;
and
WItEREAS, from time to time unanticipated expenditures create a need to amend the
Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Coalition of Cities on Franchised Utilities Issues will address issues
involving utility and franchising; and
WItEREAS, the Director of Finance certifies funds are available to fund the changes made
here.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the following amendments are hereby made to
the 1995-1996 Budget of the City of Plainview, Texas:
