RESOLUTION NO. R93-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVI~, TEXAS,
CONFIRMING THE ]~PLOYMENT OF A DIRECTOR FOR
COMMUNITY DEVRT~3PMENT FOR THE CITY OF
PLAINVI]~, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Section 201 of the City of Plainview Charter calls for the City Manager to
employ all officers and employees of the City with the advice and consent of the City
Council, and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview Charter, Plainview City Code, and the
administrative personnel policies of the City provide, expressly and implicitly state,
that officers and employees serve at the pleasure and will of the City; and
WHEREAS, said appointments in accordance with the City Charter are to be made
upon merit and fitness alone; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has deemed it desirable for the City to employ Muff
London as Director for Community Development is hereby confirmed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Plainview, Texas, that Muff
London's employment as Director for Community Development.
