Other Board Members present were Carolyn Warrick, Jack Burton, Rebecca Escalante and Julia A. Hallman. Staff present: Jim Sewell, Building Inspector. visitors present: John McDonough, Dr. Kopp and Ms. Hutcherson. Susan B.A. CASE NO. 1043. Request of Mike Hutcherson for a variance to construct a portion of a residence within the required rear yard in a R-1 (Single-Family Residential) zoning District, being Lot 74, Westridge Park No. 3, and located at 404 Navasota Drive. The case was presented to the Board by Mr. SeWell, he stated that due to the irregular shape of the Lot, the west side property line was only 105.53 it. rather than the 120 ft. at the east side property line. The ground floor of the residence covered 4695 sq. ft., which would normally fit on a rectangular lot. Being that the lot was not of the normal rectangular 'shape, it would require that a portion of the residence be built in the required rear yard. A set of plans was presented to the Board for review. Ms. Hutcherson and Mr. McDonough both in favor of the request. After reviewing the plans, Dr. Kapp stated that he had no objection to the request. After a short discussion by the Board, Ms. Warrick made a motion to grant the variance as required by the plans. The motion was seconded by Ms. Hallman and passed unanimously. Having no further business before the Board, Mr. Burton made a motion, seconded by Ms. Escalante to adjourn. Motion carried un~anT°usly~ Jim/Sewell, Building Inspecto~ Presiding Board Member
