ORDINANCE NO. 89-2782.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, AMENDING THE 198$-19$9 .BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF PLATNVIEW.
Whereas, on September 27, 1988, through the .adoption of
Ordinance No. 88-2760, the Plainview City Council approved the
1988-1989 Budget; ..and
Whereas, the Budget is a general guideline for revenues and
expenditures and requires periodic amendments in order to handle
unforeseen expenditures; and
Whereas, the. City Council wishes to .grant the City Manager a
10a merit increase in salary.
Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas, that. the 19:88-1989 Budget of .the. City of
Plainview is hereby amended in the following manner:
