RESOLUTION NO. R91-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE
FOrJ;OWING OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM AND THE AUTHORIZATION OF CERTAIN
OFFICES AS AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES ON LI~GAL
DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE CITY'S
PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM.
1~zIEREAS, the City of Plainview received a gr~nt from Texas Department
of Commerce to rehabilitate homes of low and moderate income persons and;
'~rI{EREAS, the Texas Department of Commerce ham requested that the
City of Plainview provide that individual offices are authorized to execute
above agreement.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of
Plalnview to authorize the below offices to execute above agreement.
NOIr, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Plainview, Texas:
That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director and the
Mayor of the City of Plainview to act as designated signatories for
the City of Plainview on State of Texas Purchase Vouchers
pertaining to the above grant.
That the City Council authorizes the City Manager and Director for
Community Services to act as designated signatories for the City of
Pla~nview on requests for Advance or Reimbursements pertaining to
the above grant.
