BIDS - LANDFILL EQUIPMENT
RESOLUTION NO. R91-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS,
AWARDING BIDS FOR ONE (1) SIXTEEN CUBIC YARD
ELEVATING SCRAPER; ONE (1) LANDFILL COMPACTOR
AND ONE (1) TRACK TYPE TRACTOR/DOZER.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has duly advertised and
tabulated bids for one (1) sixteen cubic yard elevating scraper;
one (1) landfill compactor and one (1) track type tractor/dozer;
and
WHEREAS, said equipment has been budgeted for in the 1990-91
fiscal year and is needed to maintain efficient landfill
operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Plainview,
Texas, that the bids are awarded in the following manner:
Landfill Compactor - West Texas Caterpillar - Cat 816B -
Purchase Price $175,573.00 - guaranteed repurchase $68,500.00 -
delivery time 90-120 days.
Track-Type Tractor/Dozer - West Texas Caterpillar - Cat D6H
Series II - Purchase Price $123,582.00 - guaranteed repurchase
$75,000.00 - options final drive guards $800.00 and trash guard
$1900.00
Sixteen Cubic Yard Elevating Scraper - West Texas Caterpillar
- Cat 615C - Purchase Price $192,334.00 - guaranteed repurchase
$90,000.00.
