RESOLUTION NO. R91-116
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS, ENDORSING THE PLAINVIEW HOUSING
AUTHORITY'S APPLICATION FOR ACQUISITION
OF TWO PROPERTIES TO BE USED FOR LOWER
INCOME HOUSEHOLDS, CURRENTLY CONTROrJ.~n~
BY THE RESOLUTION TRUST CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the Resolution Trust Corporation has advised the City of
Plainview of the availability of two single-family detached residents located at
700 West 13th Street and 1901 West 19th Street in Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview Housing Authority has expressed an interest in
acquiring said properties for use as housing for lower income households; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview Housing Authority has demonstrated that it has
adequate financial and operating resources to undert~l~e acceptance and
operation of the said properties; and
WHEREAS, said properties, if used as housing for lower income
households, are in compliance with local regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Plainview, Texas,
that the City of Plainview does endorse the aloplication of the Plainview
Housing Authority for acquiring Resolution Trust Corporation assets at 700
West 13th Street and 1901 West 19th Street to be utilized as housing for lower
income households.
