RESOLUTION NO. R13 -301
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS ADOPTING LOCAL ELECTION REGISTER FOR
THE RUNOFF ELECTION HELD ON DECEMBER 19, 2013
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Plainview, Texas, on December 19, 2013, a
Runoff Election for the position of Councilmember District 5; and
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election 95 votes as shown on the official election
results heretofore lawfully submitted to the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas,
and filed with the City Secretary of said City; and
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said City voted in said election and
said election was called and held in strict conformity with the laws of the State of Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed by the City Council of the
City of Plainview, Texas, on December 30, 2013; and showed the following results:
Councilmember District 5

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, THAT:
Susan Zeigler Blackerby is hereby declared to have been elected to the Office of
Councilmember District 5.
The above canvass is, and the same is hereby in all things approved.
