BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING MINUTES
Monday, November 23, 1992, 7:30 P.M.
Council Chambers, City Hall, 901 Broadway
The meeting was called to order by chairperson, Lynn Davis. Other board
members present were: Eddie Sessions, Don Willis, Paul Lyle and Jannie
Benson.
Staff present were: Larry Gould, Building Inspections Department; and Jim
Lindstrom, Code Enforce~e~t D.epart~nent.
Visitors present were Mrs. Ragle's ~randsSn, Mr. & Mrs. Porfinio Rodriquez,
Mrs. Latina Smith and daughter, and Mrs. Gene Craig.
Larry Gould presented B.A. Case No. 1168 to the board, the request of
Raymond Ragle for a variance of five and one half (5½) foot of the ten (10)
feet separation required in Section 34:1.2.a and a variance of thirteen (13)
feet of the twenty-five (25) feet required in Section 32 as referenced in
Section 34:5.4 for placement of an accessory building in the rear yard, being
the south ten (10) feet of Lot 17, and the north seventy-five (75) feet of Lot
18, Block 3, Wilcox Addition and generally located at 813 Holiday.
Paul Lyle moved, seconded by Jannie Benson to approve B.A. Case No. 1168
as requested. Motion carried unanimously.
Larry Gould presented B.A. Case No. 1169 to the board, the request of
Porfirio Rodriguez for a variance of nineteen and one-half (19~) feet of the
twenty-five (25) feet required in Section 32 and overlength of two (2) feet
(26 feet) as defined in Section 3:31 for placement of a carport in the front
yard being Lot 5, Block 2, Boswell Subdivision, Wayland Heights Addition and
generally located at 308 SE 5th Street.
Paul Lyle moved, seconded by Eddie Sessions to approve B.A. Case No. 1169
as requested. Motion carried unaDimously.
Larry Gould presented B.A. Case No. 1170 to the board, the request of.
Latina Smith for a variance of four (4) feet of the ten (10) foot required in
Section 32 to add to the garage on the south end of the garage and residence
being Lot 8, Bryan Addition, Unit No. I and generally located at 1310 S.
Date Street.
Jannie Benson moved, seconded by Don Willis to approve B.A. Case No. 1170
as requested. Motion carried unanimously.
With no further business before the board meeting adjourned.
