ORDINANCE NO. 97-3117
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 96-3090 TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN
THE 1996-97 BUDGET FOR THE PURCHASE OF LUBRICATION EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, on September 24, 1996, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 96-3090 the
Plainview City Council approved the 1996-97 budget; and
WHEREAS, the budget is a general guideline for revenue and expenditures and may
require periodic amendments; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview City Council has determined a need for the City to budget
funds for the purchase of lubrication equipment at the Service Center which will allow a
savings on the purchase of lubrication oils.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Plainview,
that the 1996-97 Budget is amended to appropriate $6,000 to the Service Center Fund as
follows:
