ORDINANCE NO. 90-2818
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS, AMENDING
THE 1989-1990 BUDGET OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Court has an outstanding warrant file in
excess of $135,000; and
WHEREAS, in order to efficiently process those warrants the
need has been demonstrated for a warrant officer; and
WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that a warrant officer, thru
serving the warrants, can offset most if not all the cost
associated with establishing the warrant officer position; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to fund this
position for two years and reevaluate the efficiency of such at
the conclusion of said time frame.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Plainview, Texas,
that the 1989-1990 Budget of the City of Plainview is hereby
amended in the following manner:
