Meeting called to order by Rodney Watson
Approval of December 3, 2008 minutes
Motion made by Beverly Wall
Second by Vernah Ramsower. Motion carried 5-0
Eric Turner gave an update on the THC site visit.
Eric spoke about the ads in Travel Host being completed and about the various places
thee magazine would be distributed.
Eric gave a quick summary of the Certified Retirement Community application. Eric also
mentioned that we would be accepting letters of support from various organizations,
businesses and people throughout the community. Eric informed that the Chamber was
designated to put that part of the application together. Phyllis wall suggested that we have
a set of guideline for those drafting letters that would include who the letter need be
addressed to, mailing address and what to include in the letter. Eric suggested that they
just have questions directed to Main Street.
Eric informed to the board of the PEGA workshop coming up at the end of February and
the Fool's Cup in April more information to follow.
